Make BBC2 commission a fifth series of Stewart Lee's Comedy Vehicle
BBC 2's comedy department have cancelled the popular, intelligent and innovative TV series made by genius comic Stewart Lee, under the pretence of funding cuts. Given the licence fee has not decreased the reality is they have reallocated the funding to some other less important programming.
They're probably spending the money making a programme about Michael Portillo going on a bus or something.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
The BBC is an independent body governed by a Royal Charter. Under the terms of that Charter, the BBC is operationally and editorially independent of government and there is no provision for the government to intervene in the BBC’s day-to-day operations.
You might like to write to the BBC to make this suggestion.
