Require MPs who would gain financially from private health providers declare it.

Petition Details

The NHS is a public institution and should remain under public control and decision should be made be those with it'so best interests at heart.
MPs who make decisions or vote on matters affecting the NHS should declare, each time they speak or write about it, any conflict of interest.

Additional Information

The Mirror published a list of 70 MPS who would gain from private healthcare.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

We're not sure what action you would like to see. The House of Commons already has rules about the declaration of MPs' interests, including donations and shareholdings, when participating in parliamentary proceedings. The full rules on declaration are set out in the House of Commons Code of Conduct:
