Ban the transportation and slaughter of pregnant sows
Tired, terrified and heavily pregnant sows are being transported to abattoirs and frequently give birth during this harrowing journey.
For many piglets their initial experience of this world consists of lying helplessly on the floor of a vehicle which is carting their mother off to slaughter or falling through slats onto the road below.
