Child care Vouchers

Additional Information

Families with two children and two working parents just over the higher rate of Tax are becoming unable to work due to child care costs (+£12,000 per child per year in South east) and pay that has been frozen in most areas. This will have a detrimental affect on the economy as people are forced to give up working and paying tax.

Many now have to make the decision to stop working as it is just no longer a financially viable option.

Proposal: Increase Child care vouchers to an entitlement per child and increase their value to help support working families.
