Make voting compulsory for those eligible to vote
In the latest local elections fewer than 30% of the electorate voted. With so few people voting, results can't be truly representative of what the whole country wants. Compulsory voting could significantly change the political landscape, making our politicians work harder for your vote.
Voting is compulsory in a number of countries include Australia. This is enforced with a fine or community service.
