Stop the BBC from closing the Good Food website

Petition Details

The BBC have been told to close the Good Food Website with the loss forever of over 11,000 recipes used daily by millions

The BBC have been told by the government that they need to be more original and distinctive. They think that the Good Food website is not high quality nor of sufficient value

Additional Information

By signing this petition, we will show overwhelming support for this service and get to keep our traditional recipes free online.

This decision is the responsibility of the BBC. The BBC is an independent body governed by a Royal Charter. Under the terms of that Charter, the BBC is operationally and editorially independent of government and there is no provision for the government to intervene in the BBC’s day-to-day operations.
