Discontinue plans to only keep BBC recipes online for 30 days
Plans announced on the 17th May 2016 have shown how the recipes on bbc.co.uk/food/ will only be kept online for 30 days following the programme in which they were first aired, after which they will be lost. Help petition the Government to keep the 11,000 recipes online permanently for all to use.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
This decision is the responsibility of the BBC. The BBC is an independent body governed by a Royal Charter. Under the terms of that Charter, the BBC is operationally and editorially independent of government and there is no provision for the government to intervene in the BBC’s day-to-day operations.
