10k p.a higher earner's income transfer among couples with children

Petition Details

For married couple with children, Introduce a system where the higher earner can transfer up to £10k to low earning spouse to realize tax savings which can help with child care costs. E.g. If £50k earner in the 40% tax band could transfer £10k to spouse earning £15k to reduce tax on the transferred.
