Amend unfair and harsh legislation against first time fare dodgers.
Many of us have done it by accident at least once in our life. However, getting caught even once now without a ticket on the London Underground can result in a criminal record and ruin the prospects an individual for life! Please help us put an end to this malicious prosecution by the TFL!
Outdated legislation such as Regulation of Railways Act 1889 (Yes this legislation is over 100 years old.) is having a devastating impact on the futures of many people. Most individuals caught and prosecuted are teenagers with no past criminal history who then branded criminal for this minor offence! Transport for London are using this legislation to bully and scare people into settling for huge amounts of money outside of court instead of having a fair trial! Help us change this!
