Proclaim a UK Bank Holiday to celebrate HM The Queen's 90th birthday year.

Petition Details

The Queen's official birthday will fall on Saturday 11th June in 2016, marking Her Majesty's 90th birthday. This is a wonderful moment for our nation and will be marked with public holidays around the Commonwealth and with the closure of British High Commissions and Embassies. The UK should join in!

Additional Information

Around the world, Commonwealth nations and oversees UK territories will celebrate with public holidays on either Fri 10th June or Mon 13th June. This petition calls for the same opportunity for the United Kingdom at some point between June 2016 and June 2017, the 90th year of The Queen's life.
