Call on David Cameron to stand down for misleading parliament regarding Brexit

Petition Details

David Cameron mislead parliament on February 3rd - stating that Britain is a successful nation and one of the most influential in the world and Brexit is a viable option, and that "I rule nothing out".
It appears that at the same time he was privately initiating the 'Remain' campaign.

Additional Information

I am signing this petition because I want David Cameron to stand down immediately. If he fails to do so, I would like a parliamentary enquiry to investigate this situation to determine whether parliament was mislead.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

The resignation of an individual Minister, including the Prime Minister, is not a decision for the Government or Parliament as a whole.
