Make all siblings a priority in school choices even those out of catchment area
Siblings should have priority no matter if out off catchment area. I have a daughter who is starting senior school in September but was allocated a different senior school to her brother. We have not moved since he was allocated his senior school.
There are 12 parents who are in the same situation with just this one school. How many others must be affected.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We cannot accept your petition in its current form as it is not clear what action you want either the UK Government or Parliament. A "sibling rule" already exists, which requires local authorities to prioritise places for children with siblings already at a school.
You could start a new petition asking the Government to take a specific action, for example, to make it automatic that a place is given to a child with a sibling already at the school.
