Make a commitment to create a British space elevator (not just a space port).

Petition Details

If we truly want to get in to the space race we need to make a bold move. A space elevator would allow for cheap transport into orbit. The material science is close. We have a possible site in the Ascension Islands and we should take the initiative for once. The commercial possibilities are endless
