Petition Action

No TV licence fee for Deaf and disabled people

Additional Information

Why should Deaf and disabled people have to pay to be discriminated against!
Out of all the mainstream news/weather/game-show presenters the BBC only employs three disabled people, part time, preferring instead to employ non-disabled people.
‘Show them but don’t employ them’ is their motto. The BBC portrays Deaf and disabled people as an underclass not fit to be shown as the ‘face’ of the BBC. See for yourself, watch the BBC and if you agree please sign the petition to ask the government to either force the BBC to employ more Deaf and disabled presenters or abolish the licence fee for Deaf and disabled people.
