2 years Jnr armed forces training should count towards your pensionable service.
I want the uk government to recognize armed forces training as a junior from 16 to 18 should count towards your pensionable service.
Any other industry would recognize your employment at 16 from day one.
This affects your pension as a working serviceman or woman in the UK.
I joined the Army as a 16 year old soldier & spent 2 years training.
Then completed 9 years colour service, then 1 year open engagement.
The government only recognise 9 years colour service as this technically the contract i signed.
In business where service is recognised, where else would you have 3 years not rewarded in any way, especially as those are the years I spent learning my trade.
My pension has been devalued by 3 years because the government will only pay for my contracted period of 9.
