Petition Details

The tax payer suffers a heavy burden maintaining all these government positions. It's now time for these members to give their time back to the country.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

We are not sure what you would like the UK Government or Parliament to do. Not all Members of the House of Lords receive a salary and not all positions in the House of Lords are government positions: http://www.parliament.uk/about/mps-and-lords/about-lords/lords-allowances/

You could start a new petition explaining more clearly what you would like to happen.
