Make access to Mario Kart available to residents in Local Authority Care Homes.
I'm a medical student at Nottingham Uni. I recently attended an Elderly Medicine placement in Derbyshire. In many Local Authority owned care homes, residents would be sat in front of the lounge television screen. Residents may enjoy a competitive, interactive activity instead of passive television.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
It would already be open to care homes to provide this kind of entertainment, if they wished to do so. If you want local councils to be required by law to provide games consoles for care home residents, you could start a new petition asking for that.
