Scan all dogs entering England, Scotland and Wales for microchips
There is an illegal trade in puppies which are kept in inhumane conditions in Ireland.Dogs can be taken across the border from Ireland to Northern Ireland and avoid any Pet Passport control.Microchip scanning on entry into England, Scotland and Wales at entry terminals would control this trade
