Make it law for all bedsheets sold in the UK to be labelled with their size
It's very difficult to guess the difference between the different sizes of sheets sold in Britain. Thousands of wasted person-hours a year could be saved if all sheets were properly labelled so we didn't have to make at least three trips to the airing cupboard every time we wanted to change a bed.
