Introduce a 3 strike policy before benefits can be sanctioned.

Petition Details

The use of automatic benefit sanctions is littered with examples of hardship incurred to those being sanctioned. There is no evidence that automatic benefit sanctions "help" people into work. It takes time to find a job, however anybody can have an emergency which causes them to miss an appointment.
