Lower the legal voting age to 16 years old.
As a 17 year old college student who is having to take a back seat as some of the countries most closed minded people are deciding my future. I want the legal voting age to be lowered to 16 years old as I feel today's youth are tomorrows people and we have each and every right to know to decided it.
This year one of the most life changing options are being made without the younger generation what people call young adults is being made for us, which is the decision to stay or leave the European Union, and it infuriates me that we cant vote.
We are made to pay adult fairs on public transport, tax in superstores, so why cant we be like the adults you financially treat us like? Wouldn't you feel the way we do?
