Extend new minimum "living" wage to under 25s and stop the wage discrimination.
The government has disgracefully excluded young adults once again with the latest "living" wage. This is age discrimination at it's worst and implies that adults under 25 are somehow worth less because of their age, in spite of the fact that they have the same expenses and jobs as those paid more.
Adults under 25 deserve to be paid enough to live. This discrimination means that two adults doing the exact same office job can now be legally paid different amounts.Young adults trying to stand on their own two feet and make their way in society are being told once again that they are worth less and don't deserve the same rights as their contemporaries.
