More Powers for Security Guards

We need more powers for security staff i.e. more powers to defend our person with items that police use, more powers of arrest other than citizens arrest when absoute neccesery.
We as a company look after most property and other places in the UK and are always first in the fireing line of any intruders, the goverment needs to recognise this and recognise we are working to protect persons and property from attack and theft/vandalisum so help us by giving us more powers and self defence rights under SIA licencing legistlation
