Men unprotected by law in false accusations of sexual crimes
More menĀ“s that we believe are the real victims of false allegations like sexual assault or rape. Police and CPS can charge anyone who is falsely accused by any girl at any time with no evidence. We need to take action against this accusations that are destroying lives despite a lack of proof.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We're not sure exactly what you would like the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Making a false allegation of a crime may already in some circumstances lead to a jail sentence - for example, if someone is found guilty of perverting the course of justice. In other cases, people who are accused of making false accusations may be prosecuted for wasting police time.
It is not therefore clear to us what you would like Parliament to do. You could start a new petition asking for a specific change to the law.
