Hold a national two minutes of silence for the late Jo Cox (MP).
Jo Cox was a former aid worker, and then became head of global policy for Oxfam. She went on to become an MP, into which role she carried her passion for improving peoples' lives. She was well-loved by constituents and colleagues alike. She died today in an attack, and she leaves behind a family.
There are no words. Everyone knows what has happened. This gives us a chance to show respect and mourn, and to stand with her family.
... This article gives a better summary of Jo Cox than I can. http://www.theguardian.com/politics/2016/jun/16/jo-cox-global-aid-worker-to-labour-adviser
