That the government urgently redirect funding from nuclear to tidal power

Nuclear power is extremely environmentallly damaging, dangerous and very expensive.
Tidal power offers great potential being available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and we have some of the best tides in the world. Investment at a fraction of the cost of nuclear would could result easily in this country being the world leader and it would provide entirely clean and secure energy as well as very significant capacity.
