Re-open the inquest into princess Diana's death/murder.
Make the government open an inquest into what really happened to Diana, Princess of Wales. The Queen's initial reaction to news was that 'someone must have greased the brakes', it has been claimed.
Diana was killed in August 1997, with her boyfriend Dodi Fayed, when there car crashed in Paris.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
The Government and Parliament do not have the power to open an inquest. That is a decision for the coroner, who is independent of the Government and Parliament.
The Attorney General (who is a Government Minister) can ask the High Court to consider whether there should be a new investigation into a death, and to overturn the decision made by the original inquest. The High Court decides independently whether this should happen.
