Introduce political education into the secondary school curriculum
Our current education system does not provide the younger generation with an adequate understanding of the UK political system. A reformed curriculum that incorporates political education would prevent the electorate from making ill-informed decisions.
This would ensure that when important political decisions arise, such as the issue of the UK's membership in the EU, a larger proportion of the electorate would have the knowledge and understanding to make an informed decision.
