Make Banks legally obliged to pay a proper interest rate to elderly
Banks move customers with eg ISAs down to a peppercorn rate of interest if they ever are not notified to put the investment into a new account.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
It's not clear what you mean by "a proper rate of interest". You could start a new petition calling for banks to be required to notify their customers before their money is moved to an account with a lower interest rate.
