Allow 16-year-olds to vote in the UK at local, national and referendum elections

Petition Details

If 16-year-olds can legally get married and start a family then why can't they vote? Surely 16-year-olds should have a say in who runs the country and the future of the country if they are able to raise a family here. Let 16 and 17-year-olds have the vote as they are affected as much as adults are.
