London should remain part of the European Union
London's majority population have voted to remain part of the European Union. One pound in every five earned by Londoners is used to fund the rest of the country, a report has revealed. Therefore London should be able to have a different agreement and remain part of the European Union
Londoners contribute 70% more of the UK's national income than people in the rest of the country each year - a difference of £16,000 per person - and the capital generates 22% of all annual UK economic growth, despite accounting for only 12.5% of the population.
