Lower the voting age in Britain to 16
British citizens that are aged 16 and 17 have unprecedented access to political information through the general media and social media. This means that they are more informed 16 and 17 year olds than any previous generation.
The fact that people of 16 and 17 years of age have to live with the results of political voting the longest means that it is only fair that they get their vote, that they get a voice. It is their time to be heard. They deserve a say in what happens in their future.
