Vote of No Confidence to trigger a general election if the new PM is unelected

Petition Details

It is undemocratic to have an unelected Prime Minister with no mandate. The PM would have no legitimacy and therefore no right to lead the people in a democracy.

Additional Information

David Cameron has resigned and as a result the next Conservative leader is likely to become Prime Minister unless they choose to gave a general election.
