Don't waste taxpayer money on early elections and David Cameron to stay as PM
Regardless of the EU referendum result, now that the UK economy is vulnerable it is not good for the health of the U.K. economy that there is the possibility of an early general election. David Cameron should not resign since he was only elected 1 year ago regardless of the referendum outcome.
The 2015 General election is in no way void and for many it was a vote for David Cameron to be our Prime Minister. Parliament should act to prohibit any early general election and a vote of confidence in David Cameron as PM, urging him to stay on.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
The Prime Minister's decision to resign is a matter for the Prime Minister.
In any case, we already have a petition calling for there not to be a general election: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/133637
