Mercedes SBC braking system
When the Senstronic Braking System developed by Mercedes Benz / Bosch reaches its threshold limit and stops working as on a mid 2000 Mercedes E Class and some other cars ,it can be a daunting experience for the driver and others ,as you get little warning that this is going to happen and you could loose control of the car you are driving.
This technology ,while good in theory ,is not in practical terms ,once threshold limit is reached ,which is ,as I understand it ,a computer programmed limit and unless you get your car serviced by a main dealer throughout its life there is no real way for the car driver to know when this event will happen so it makes this unit a dangerous component to have fitted to a car .
