Petition Action

Hold referendum to decide whether to accept the exit terms presented by the EU

Petition Details

Once article 50 of Lisbon Treaty is evoked, within 2 years the EU member states will present the terms on a 'leave it or take it' basis. These terms must be decided (as stated in the treaty) without UK involvement. Thus petition is for the UK people to decide if they accept or reject the terms
