BBC Four should not be scaled back due to cost-cutting
BBC Four is reported to be in danger of being scaled back as a result of the BBC's desire to cut costs.
In its current form BBC Four outputs many fresh, innovative and diverse shows, including several awarding winning new comedies and dramas ("Getting On", "The Thick of It", "The Alan Clarke Diaries"), topical analysis ("Charlie Brooker's Screenwipe") and live features ("Richard II", "The Quatermass Experiment").
Keep BBC Four intact as "everybody needs a place to think".
