Petition Action

Introduce mandatory voting in the UK for referenda and general elections.

Petition Details

The EU referendum was supposed to decide what the country wants but, with less than 73% of the electorate voting, the result does not reflect the opinion of the whole country.
For such big decisions, everyone should be made to vote so the decision really does reflect the views of the whole country.
