Parliamentary vote on whether to implement the result of the EU referendum
The EU referendum vote is not legally binding on the prime minister. Parliament could and should vote on whether to implement Article 50 and exit the EU.
This is of particular importance given the narrow margin of the result and the significant repercussions on the UK of exiting the EU.
