'Vote Leave' have successfully won the EU Referendum and we can expect the UK to start proceedings to withdraw from Europe.

'Vote Leave' campaigned with assurances that the money we are currently handing over to the EU could be better spent on our own public services.

Additional Information

Now that 'Leave' have won this referendum they need to live up to the promises made during the campaign and guarantee that this money will be spent on public services that greatly need extra support.

"Let's give our NHS the £350 million the EU takes every week" was a specific slogan of the 'Leave' campaign. The 'Leave' campaign website also stated "Vote Leave to invest an extra £100m into the NHS every week".

These were explicit statements made during the campaign and many people have voted on the back of such promises made. The government needs to ensure that any negotiations out of the EU also includes assurances that funds currently paid to the EU be reinvested into our public services and specifically into our underfunded NHS.
