Allow custom boxes on Cable TV Networks

Additional Information

We the undersigned petition the government to force cable companies to allow customers to provide their own technology for accessing Cable TV services.

Currently Cable companies have a monopoly on providing the equipment needed, and charge a premium for this.

We request that we be able to provide our own compatible boxes such as Media Center PC's.

The Cable Companies will still provide the required decoding cards to decrypt the services.
