Petition Action

Ignore the result of the EU referendum

Petition Details

Parliament should disregard the result of the EU Independence Referendum because:
1. The leave vote was artificially inflated by capricious voting
2. Many of those who voted had no real grasp of the issues
3. The leave vote was artificially inflated by lies from the leave campaign

Additional Information

The leave vote was artificially inflated by the following:
1. Leave voters using it as an anti-government protest vote, with little regard for the issues
2. The elderly were permitted to vote, but had little stake in the result
3. 16 & 17 year olds were not permitted to vote, despite their future being at stake, but was permitted in the Scottish Referendum for similar reasons, the referendum was therefore not conducted in accordance with established precedent
4. The fraudulent £350M for the NHS claim cynically made by the Leave campaign to attract less sophisticated voters, were this a contract the courts would strike the entire referendum out for fraudulent misrepresentation
