Call a General Election BEFORE the UK negotiates it's exit from the EU.
On 23rd June the public voted to leave the EU.
David Cameron resigned as PM triggering a leadership contest in the Conservative party.Whoever replaces Mr Cameron will be selected by 150,000 party members & will be responsible for negotiating the UK exit.
I do not feel it is right that the future of this country should be negotiated by a prime minister put in place by a fraction of the 150,000 membership of the conservative party.
We need a general election so that the negotiations are lead by a leader that has the backing of the majority of the electorate & not just the majority of conservative party members.
