give the people a vote to replace a resigned prime minister
Following the resignation of the prime minister in exceptional circumstances it is not democratic for his replacement not have a mandate from the people. One party's members should not have the power to choose. The fixed term parliament act should be amended to allow for exceptional circumstances.
