Give 16 year olds the right to vote as these laws will effect their future.
I am 17 and missed out voting on the EU referendum. The majority of the voters that voted leave were middle aged or elderly who carry very prejudice and old fashioned views but society is changing and so has youth involvement in politics in which the EU referendum has triggered.Maturity is debatable.
This topic is very controversial and raises issues as to whether adolescents have the maturity and knowledge to vote on such topics however, doesn't it pose the question those who don't possess maturity wouldn't vote or have an interest in politics. Those just below the voting age are quite annoyed that we couldn't have a say in our own future and if you take to any social media (particularly Twitter) you can see the extent of this disagreement. This includes those of both classes and backgrounds.
