Petition Action

Prevent those aged 65+ from making decisions concerning younger generations

Petition Details

It is unfair that people who may not even be affected by the consequences are able to have power over others' lives and make decisions that greatly influence the youth.

Additional Information

Before the EU referendum, those aged over 60 were the most likely group to want to leave the EU according to polls. The areas that scored the highest anti-EU votes during the referendum are also the areas with the highest pensioner populace, whilst a higher percentage of the younger population voted remain- those that the result will have the most significant impact on due to the fact that it will continue throughout our lifetime.
