Petition Details

On 23rd June 2016 the British electorate voted for the UK to leave the EU. The Prime Minister can invoke Article 50 immediately, yet he appears to intend to wait until his successor takes over as PM likely to be in October 2016. Why wait?

Additional Information

The President of the EU Jean-Claude Juncker wants the negotiations to start immediately stating the EU and UK did not have have a "tight love affair anyway"
