Petition for the calling of a general election as a result of a Brexit.
A government that won below 40% of the electorate, has just led the country out of the EU. This has divided the nation. A general election should be called where all parties can present their proposed negotiations with Brussels to the people, who can decide what kind of negotiation they want.
With the Prime Minister resigning, no person should just walk in to Downing Street. The decision to Leave was democratic, so too should the decision as to the kind of negotiation and who leads the negotiation.
