Petition Action

Hold a second European Union membership referendum.

Petition Details

The referendum campaign resulted in a largely misinformed public who hadn't genuinely realised the implications of their vote. Disillusionment with the political classes saw millions vote against party leaders not truly understanding the impact of Britain's exit from the EU.

Additional Information

There is increasing evidence on social and traditional media of voter regret, "had I realised my [protest] vote would count, I would have voted differently" is a common cry.

Ordinary people should be allowed to repair their errors. A whole generation could pay with their economic futures.

Please, let's do this again. I think many have learned their lessons.
