Let 13-17 year olds have a say in whether we remain or leave the EU
On the 24th of June 2016 the United Kingdom made a big decision to leave the European Union. As the future generation,we are outraged and disappointed at the final result. We want to have our say in Brexit, give us the youth a chance to determine OUR future. Let us vote for whats right!
Some people may think we are to young to know what is going on,but we do. We feel like many people didn't take us into consideration when voting, OUR future is at risk due to the result of Thursday's vote. We want as many people to get behind this Campaign and support the future generation!
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
It's not clear how you would like 13 to 17 year olds to be able to have their say. If you would like there to be a separate referendum, in which only people aged between 13 and 17 can vote, you could start a new petition asking for that.
